🗓 Sunday, June 21
🕚 11 AM – 4 PM

Join us for a one-of-a-kind Pride celebration set against the backdrop of one of DC’s most iconic and historic resting places. Gays & Graves is a joyful outdoor festival honoring LGBTQ+ history, creativity, resilience, and community spirit through an afternoon of art, storytelling, music, shopping, and connection.

I’m so excited that Hemlock & Hearth will be part of this year’s celebration alongside so many incredible LGBTQ+ artists, makers, and small businesses. I’ll be bringing a curated selection of Southern Gothic-inspired candles, body oils, and fragrance favorites inspired by memory, ritual, gardens, old stories, and summer nights.

You’ll also find:
✨ Limited seasonal scents
✨ Botanical and atmospheric fragrance blends
✨ Moody summer favorites

Throughout the day, the historic chapel will host programming exploring LGBTQ+ history and remembrance. Congressional Cemetery is the final resting place of many LGBTQ+ pioneers and activists, making this event both a celebration and a meaningful tribute to those who came before us.

Whether you’re coming to shop, wander the grounds, connect with community, or simply spend a beautiful Pride afternoon outdoors, this is such a special event to experience.
